Public Books

Public Books is a New York City–based digital magazine that unites the best of the university with the openness of the internet. In her role as a copyeditor, Kirsten has edited long-form review essays and interviews on a range of subjects.


COAR

The Center for Operational Analysis and Research is an independent social enterprise dedicated to informing humanitarian, stabilization, and development interventions in complex environments. Kirsten developed COAR’s style guide and has edited reports on economic, social, and security issues in Syria, Lebanon, Myanmar, and Ukraine.


Auckland Museum

Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum is a leading cultural institution in Aotearoa New Zealand, telling the story of the country, its place in the Pacific, and its people. Kirsten wrote and edited interpretive text — including gallery labels, audio guides, film scripts, and AV experience subtitles — for major exhibitions.


The Daily Star was Lebanon’s leading English-language daily newspaper. Kirsten copyedited everything from feature articles to news stories and real-time updates, as well as managing the website and promoting stories via social media.
